Lazy Garbage Matte Makers

1. Import footage into Shake
2. Attach a Primatte node and set center color, and make one pass for the foreground color
3. Branch a LazyHoldOut or LazyGarbage node and connect to corresponding input in Primatte
4. Set blur, dilate/erode size, and the alpha low and high.
5. Continue pulling green screen with Primatte.

1. Import footage into shake
2. Attach a LazyHoldOut
3. Set alpha low and alpha high to pull darks to black and lights to white
4. Ignore dilate/erode settings

Formulas used

alpha = green - max(red, blue)

green = min(red, green)
